A beautiful vintage Mikimoto pearl and diamond ring featuring an approximately 8mm Akoya cultured pearl, set in a sculptural 18K yellow gold mounting accented with a graceful sweep of round brilliant-cut diamonds.

The design curves beneath the pearl in a fluid, wave-like silhouette, with approximately nine round brilliant-cut diamonds following the contour of the setting. The diamonds are estimated to total approximately 0.22 carat, with an estimated G–H color and VS clarity.

At the center sits a luminous approximately 8mm Akoya cultured pearl with a beautiful white body color, strong luster and subtle silvery-to-rose overtones.

Unlike a traditional pearl solitaire, the asymmetrical setting gives this ring a much more sculptural, contemporary feel while retaining the understated elegance associated with Mikimoto.

Crafted in substantial 18K yellow gold, the ring weighs approximately 5 grams and is signed with the Mikimoto maker’s mark and K18 hallmark.
