Authentic Tiffany & Co. Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Brooch | Circa 1920s

An extraordinary piece of early Tiffany & Co. craftsmanship dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1920s.

The brooch is beautifully constructed in platinum with an intricate openwork design of interlocking floral and ribbon-like forms, finished with fine milgrain detailing. Natural old-cut diamonds follow the graceful curves of the design, giving the piece that unmistakable delicate brilliance associated with early 20th-century platinum jewelry.

At the center is an approximately 4mm old European-cut diamond estimated at 0.25 carat, accompanied by two approximately 3mm old-cut diamonds. Approximately 32 additional smaller diamonds are set throughout the brooch.

The three principal diamonds are estimated at approximately 0.50 carat combined, with the total diamond weight estimated at approximately 1.00 carat, give or take.

The primary decorative portion of the brooch is platinum. The needle pin itself is 14K white gold.
